Important. Read This First.

As long-time readers of this website know, I'm a huge fan of the classic 90's UPN show Ape Zone. A few years ago, a supposed production company said they found an unseen sequel of the show a 70's movie called Nixone which I also watched and became a fan of.

Now only two years later, they are saying they found another sequel this time from almost exactly twenty years earlier. And it's called OZONE. It's got like the same characters and stuff, and it's still got some pretty good inciteful writing but THERE IS NO WAY IT IS REAL.

They have clearly deepfaked all the original actors and made something that is not pure, like when they put Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump and put Forrest Gump in old footage of the presidents and John Lennon. This show is completely fraudulent and is NOT TRUE. But for historical value, I am covering it on this website because it's a lot like the others. It's just a bootleg.

I THINK WHAT'S SO DISAPPOINTING

I have had to think a lot about whether or not to even put this show on my page. Thats why it took me a few years to do it and why I'm not trying very hard to make this page as good as the other ones on my site. Why would someone try to take something so hip and cool and unknown as Ape Zone and try to profit off it. That's got to be against copyright.

I was so miffed I paid someone on Fiverr to verify that Nixone was authentic. And fortunately it is. That checks out. But theres no way Ozone is real because the actors look too young and like themselves. Its really bad CGI. Deepfakes.

You might actually like the show because it has some cool visual effects and really good commentary on relations with aliens and also nuclear policy. I don't hate it I'm just sad that they made it deepfake.
